I read with interest the news that soldiers who are dealing with the arriving prisoners on Guantanamo are wearing face shields to prevent infection from T.B. (Apparently some of the prisoners have tested positive for the disease.)
Am glad our government is so concerned. Yet thousands of illegals cross our borders every day and no is concerned that they could be carriers as well. Who worries about the general population. As you know, tuberculosis is quite common among the immigrant population and the rate of the disease is rising.
