Comparing the KKK and a student organization such as MECHA doesn't make sense.  The KKK has a history of killing and extreme hatred towards non whites.  Mecha is a student organization with no history of killing or hatred towards non whites or whites.

So you think that inflamatory rhetoric from MEChA's "El Plan de Aztlan"  manifesto like:

'In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud  historical heritage but also of the brutal "gringo" invasion of our  territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of  Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and  consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call  of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.'

is not hatred of Whites. Interesting.

MEChA does not have a history of killing, true. So let's compare MEChA to  the all-white CCC (Council of Conservative Citizens) which does not have a  history of killing either. When it was discovered that Trent Lott was a member  of CCC, he correctly quit the organization and repudiated it.

Would you have approved of it if he had refused to quit CCC as you  ostensibly approve of Villaraigosa's continued support of MEChA? I think not.

I think your political correctness is showing.

Which part is the "hatred" part?  I admit the part that says "the brutal gringo invasion" is rather strong language, but where does it say anyone hates "Gringos" or whites?

Where does MECHA advocate harm to Whites? Whites also belong to MECHA. No i am not a member, but wanted to find out if whites were excluded, and found out there are many many whites who are members of MECHA. I checked into this organization to find out if all the MECHA bashing was justified.

There may be Whites who are members of MEChA (Although I don't know of any).  But that doesn't change MEChA's goal of "Liberating Aztlan."

As you know, the NAACP long ago kicked out the white Jews who helped found  them, adopting their policy of only black members. If you are consistant, you  will have to admit that if you consider the all-White CCC to be racist, then  you will also have to consider the NAACP also to be racist.

One does not have to utter the words "I hate whites" to make it clear that they  do. That sort of rhetoric (gringo invasion) clearly gets the hate-white message  across. But if that's not convincing to you, How about this?:

Jose Angel Gutierrez, Antonoio Villaraigosa's close friend and Director of  Mexican-American Studies Center at the University of Texas has professed since  1970 that "Our devil has pale skin and blue eyes," and who once said at a MAYA  (Mexican American Youth Organization, the foreruner to MEChA) meeting, "To the  gringos in the audience, I have one final message to convey, 'Up yours, baby.  You've had it, from now on.'"

Note that he didn't literally say anything about hating Whites, did he?
