It is ironic that since Villaraigosa couldn't even pass the bar exam, that he now wants to lead the Los Angeles Unified School district to reduce dropouts which he himself says is 50
percent.

Since Villaraigosa never mentioned in his mayoral campaign website's bio (website no longer available) that he had a 1977 college degree in History (now mentioned in his official mayor website); and no one in the news media has ever verified that he has such a degree, there is some uncertainty about whether he ever graduated from UCLA.
