In an unprecedented move, the Los Angeles
Times featured a positive article about mayoral Candidate, Walter Moore, giving Moore the break he was
waiting for. Until the article appeared in Monday's (Feb 28, 2005) edition of the California section, the Times
appeared to be blackballing Moore.
A rigged polling process discovered by Moore's campaign manager, may have been the reason that the poll
hasn't been published. Moore's supporters who contacted the Times' Pollster director, Susan Pinkus with
their outrage may have been a factor in the Times surprise move.
As Moore's supporters have been critical of
Times' "Moore Blackout," it is only fair that we Moore supporters contact the writer of the article,
